Client Spotlight: NOCHI
From now until October 14, New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) is offering an exciting, new quarantine cooking experience to benefit our city’s beloved hospitality industry. This week, NOCHI kicked off Cooking for A Cause, an online fundraiser where auctiongoers can bid on private culinary experiences with some of the biggest names in hospitality including Emeril Lagasse, Danny Meyer, Donald Link, and Nina Compton. Private dinner parties, cocktail classes, and cooking classes are all up for auction during this two-week event.
Cooking for A Cause is NOCHI’s first fundraiser since opening in 2019 as New Orleans’ only dedicated culinary institute. The fundraiser will showcase some of Louisiana’s finest culinary talent while also raising money for NOCHI’s hospitality programs and continuing education.
For the icing on the cake, Ian McNulty of NOLA.com | The Advocate and Dan Davis of Commander’s Palace will co-host a virtual event on the final night of the auction that will turn your living room into a party room. NOCHI’s grand finale will include live-streamed music from the Vegas Cola Band and virtual appearances from top chefs.
Online bidding is currently open and closes during the live-streamed grand finale, which kicks off at 7:30pm CT on Wednesday, October 14th.
